    • Prepare your skin and soap
    • Wet your hands or the area to be washed with warm (not hot) water to open pores and soften the skin
    • If using a washcloth, loofah, or sponge, wet it along with the soap bar
    • Create a rich lather
    • Rub the bar between your wet hands or on a washcloth for at least 20 seconds, using circular motions 
    • Gradually add small amounts of water to help emulsify the soap and create a creamy, voluminous lather
    • Avoid vigorous scrubbing to prevent skin irritation
    • FOR HANDS: For hands, scrub all surfaces, including between fingers and under nails
    • FOR BODY: For body or face (if formulated for it), massage the lather in gently, using fingertips for face to avoid the eyes
